Throughout the entire lifecycle of a denroom, from initial design through to eventual recycling after generations in use, our pods have been conceived to offer the maximum comfort for the minimum energy consumption costs.

denrooms complies strictly with all current environmental legislative requirements, promoting high standards of energy management and undertaking waste management programmes wherever appropriate. Our production facility employs the latest machinery and techniques to ensure that we achieve high quality standards and low environmental impact. Building pods complete in a factory setting, compared with traditional methods on site, allows for all production wastes to be controlled and minimised, ultimately lowering the carbon footprint of our products, increasing consistency and reducing costs.

Every denroom has been designed to minimise its carbon footprint. For instance, our steel is both partly recycled (typically 25%) and completely recyclable at the end of its service life. Our cellulose fibre insulation actually lowers the carbon footprint of our homes by converting waste newsprint into a sustainable insulation method that traps carbon which would otherwise be released as methane at landfill sites. It’s also cost effective compared with other forms of man-made insulation.
